马文秀教授是美国南佛罗里达大学教授、可积系统与孤立子理论领域著名专家，研究领域覆盖应用数学、数学物理、计算机符号计算等方向。为上海启明星学者、德国洪堡学者、中国国家外国专家局特聘教授、及《非线性科学百科全书》可积系统部分唯一华裔特邀撰稿人。现任美国、英国、加拿大等7个国家相关基金会专业评审委员和终审组委员、担任《Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics》等20多种国际著名科学杂志的主编或编委。

Professor Ma Wen-Xiu is a well-known expert in the field of integrable systems and soliton theory, and now works at the University of South Florida. His research interests cover applied mathematics, mathematical physics, and computer symbolic computing. He is a unique Chinese-born guest writer for the Shanghai Qixing Scholars, the German Humboldt Scholars, the Distinguished Professor of the China National Foreign Experts Bureau, and the Integrable System of the Nonlinear Science Encyclopedia. He is currently a professional reviewer and final review team member of seven national related countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. He is the editor of more than 20 internationally renowned scientific journals such as Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics.

本课程《现代数学分析》将作为大学基础数学教育的延伸，在《高等数学》、《线性代数》等课程的基础上开设，主要内容有：向量和线性组合；向量和线性方程组；方程组的几何解释；矩阵空间；复向量和矩阵；线性代数应用：工程中的矩阵；图和网络；马尔科夫矩阵、人口和经济；线性规划；傅里叶级数：函数的线性代数；统计推断的线性代数；计算机图形；计算线性代数特别是Maple 对线性代数应用。This course "Modern Mathematical Analysis" will be used as an extension of the university's basic mathematical education. It will be based on courses such as "Advanced Mathematics" and "Linear Algebra". The main contents are: vector and linear combination; vector and linear equations; geometric interpretation of equations; matrix space; complex vectors and matrices; linear algebra applications: matrices in engineering; graphs and networks; Markov matrix, population and economics; linear programming; Fourier series: linear algebra of functions; statistical inference Linear algebra; computer graphics; computational linear algebra, especially Maple for linear algebra applications.
