Ajmal Mian教授任职于澳大利亚西澳大学计算机科学与软件工程学院，主要研究领域包括计算机视觉、机器学习、高光谱图像分析、模式识别、人类行为识别、三维物体识别、人脸识别等。在重要刊物和国际会议上发表论文150余篇，是Optics Express、PAMI、IJCV等重要刊物和国际会议的审稿人。Professor Ajmal Mian works in the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering of University of Western Australia. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, hyperspectral image analysis, pattern recognition, human behavior recognition, 3D object recognition, and face recognition. He has published more than 150 papers in important journals and international conferences, and is a reviewer of important publications such as Optics Express, PAMI, IJCV and international conferences.

本课程是一门实用性很强的课程,主要介绍使用Matlab来进行科学计算和分析，对锻炼学生的分析问题、计算处理和实践能力具有重要意义，其在工程应用及人工智能领域有着很强的基础性。此外，本课程的引入对学院全体师生学习国外先进的教学理念、教学方法、教师培养、团队建设、国际化推进等具有良好的推动作用。This course is a very practical course, which mainly introduces the use of Matlab for scientific calculation and analysis. This course is of great significance for training students' analytical problems, computational processing and practical ability, and has a strong foundation in engineering applications and artificial intelligence. In addition, the introduction of this course has a good impetus to all the teachers and students of our college to learn advanced foreign teaching concepts, teaching methods, teacher training, team building, and internationalization.
