Jorge Ripoll博士是马德里卡洛斯三世大学教授，是国际知名的生物医学光子学专家，在Nature Biotechnology，PNAS等国际顶级刊物上发表论文100余篇，google scholar 被引次数7600多次，H因子41。其主要研究方向为生物医学光学成像及其生物应用。

Dr. Jorge Ripoll is a professor at department of bioengineering of the Charles III University of Madrid (UC3M), Spain. He is a famous biomedical photonics expert. He has published more than 100 papers in international journals, such as Nature Biotechnology and PNAS. His papers has been cited more than 7,600 times, and the H index of Google scholar is 41. His work focuses on biomedical optical imaging and application.

该课程介绍生物医学光子学的基础理论和前沿进展，包括光与生物组织体的相互作用、生物医学光子学中的测量技术、生物医学光子成像技术和生物医学光子学当前热点等内容。

This course introduces the basic theories and frontiers of biomedical photonics, including the interaction of light and biological tissues, measurement techniques in biomedical photonics, biomedical photon imaging techniques, and current hot spots in biomedical photonics.
