教师简介：Evgeny Burnaev 于2006年获得莫斯科物理技术大学(MIPT)硕士学位，2008年获得俄罗斯科学院计算机科学博士学位。自2016年始，Burnaev为斯科尔科沃科技研究院的副教授,带领团队开展科学与工程的高等数据分析研究，取得系列优秀成果。  Evgeny Burnaev 于2017年获得莫斯科市政府颁发的杰出青年科学家奖章。他的研究兴趣包括基于高斯过程多重保真替代建模和优化的回归问题，面向3D 数据分析和流形学习的深度学习, 在线学习和异常检测。Evgeny Burnaev obtained his MSc in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 2006, and his PhD degree in Foundations of Computer Science at the Institute for Information Transmission Problem RAS in 2008. Since 2016 Evgeny Burnaev is an Associate Professor of Skoltech and manages his research group for Advanced Data Analytics in Science and Engineering. In 2017, Evgeny Burnaev was honored with the Moscow Government Prize for Young Scientists.  Evgeny’s research interests encompass the areas of regression based on Gaussian processes for multi-fidelity surrogate modeling and optimization, Deep Learning for 3D Data Analysis and manifold learning, on-line learning for prediction and anomaly detection.

课程简介：This introductory course provides you with insights into the power of machine learning, and the multitude of intelligent applications. The learning approach is to start from use cases and then dig into algorithms and methods. We are going to use the Python programming language to build several intelligent applications that use machine learning.
