教师简介（中英文）：任宽芳教授从事粒子对激光波束散射的理论计算和应用研究近四十年，他所提出的算法和编写的代码得到国际同行的广泛应用。自1990年赴法国学习工作，为西电在该领域的研究和国际影响发挥重要桥梁和促进作用。近20年他潜心研究大尺寸非规则目标的光/电磁散射理论和计算方法，由他提出和发展起来的“波的射线理论”，为解决大尺寸非规则目标的散射问题提供了一个新的方法，在电磁计算、光学成像、声波散射等诸多领域应该有广泛的应用前景。任教授在国际期刊发表科技论文100多篇。任宽芳教授现任西电华山学者讲座教授，全法中国科技工作者协会副理事长。任教授在光学，尤其是光散射领域的学术水平在国际上、特别是欧美国家的学者中有较大的影响。

Professor Ren Kuanfang has been engaged in theoretical calculation and application research on particle scattering of laser beam for nearly 40 years. His algorithms and codes have been widely used by international colleagues. Since 1990, he has studied and worked in France, playing an important role in bridging and promoting the research and international influence of XD in this field. In the past 20 years, he has devoted himself to the study of light/electromagnetic scattering theory and calculation methods of large irregular targets. The "ray theory of waves" proposed and developed by him provides a new method for solving the scattering problem of large irregular targets. It should have a wide application prospect in electromagnetic calculation, optical imaging, acoustic scattering and many other fields. Professor Ren has published more than 100 scientific and technological papers in international journals. Professor Ren Kuanfang is currently the Chair Professor of Xidian Huashan Scholars and the Vice chairman of China Association of Science and Technology Workers in France. Professor Ren's academic level in the field of optics, especially light scattering, has a great influence on the international, especially European and American scholars.

课程简介（中英文）：任宽芳教授拟开设的“光学：从最基础到最前沿”海外课程符合我校国际双创实践周的授课要求，授课内容和课程资料遵守中国法律法规、具有正确的政治方向和价值导向。将开阔我校学生的国际视野、满足我校学生国际化学习与发展需求，提升我校本科生教育教学水平。今年本课程将在去年教学内容基础上，进行部分更新，进一步提升教学效果。任宽芳教授2022年采用线上授课方式讲授该课程，受到学生高度评价。根据学生对本课程教学效果的感想和评价，本课程已编辑了2022年该课程的学生作业短文集。

The overseas course "Optics:From fundamentals to frontiers" proposed by Professor Ren Kuanfang meets the teaching requirements of the International Entrepreneurship and Innovation Practice Week of our university. The teaching content and course materials comply with Chinese laws and regulations, and have the correct political direction and value orientation. It will broaden the international vision of our students, meet the international learning and development needs of our students, and improve the education and teaching level of our undergraduate students. This year, based on last year's teaching content, part of the course will be updated to further improve the teaching effect. Professor Ren Kuan-fang taught the course online in 2022 and was highly praised by students. According to students' impressions and comments on the teaching effect of this course, the course has edited the short collection of students' assignments for 2022.
