教师简介：Riordan教授现任职于法国凡尔赛大学，主要负责英语口语，英语语音学音韵学课程，STEM相关专业科技英语教学，并负责学术论文出版前的校对。他是法国国际文化研究中心研究员；凡尔赛大学国际关系部国际教师与合作协议负责人。Riordan教授曾于2018年下半年和2019年双创周期间在西安电子科技大学机电工程学院小范围开设学术写作和口语交流相关课程。他曾于2012年至2016年期间任职法国伊芙丽大学，获得终身教授，主要负责计算机科学、电子工程、生物科学及科技英语写作与口语交流课程。作为一名英语母语者，Riordan教授熟练掌握英语、法语两门语言，有着丰富的以英语为二语教学经验。Riordan Macnamara works as the General instructor and Professor of Oral English, Phonetics and Phonology for the department of English Studies, University of Versailles Saint-Quentin, France. He gives courses in Technical Writing in English to postgraduates in many scientific specializations. He is the proofreader of specialized academic articles before publication. He is a researcher of the French Centre for International Cultural Studies and in charge of the international cooperation agreement. He gave courses in Technical Writing and in Pronunciation for postgraduates, PHD students and Professors of the School of Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Xidian University and became a visiting lecturer to Xidian University. He worked in University of Evry, France from 2012 to 2016 and earned permanent professor there. He mainly taught Scientific English, written and spoken (students in Computer Science, Biology, Electronics, etc.), and delivered a variety of courses in Oral communicational English. As a native English speaker, he is fluent in English and French, both written and spoken, with no foreign accent in either language.

课程简介：本课程是一门理论学习与实操练习相结合的课程，旨在通过英语语音与发音理论学习帮助学生获得可辨识的英语发音。在理论学习部分,主要包括以下三个方面的内容：正确的音位，英语单词及句子中的重读音节的位置，以及相关的语调。在实训操作部分，本课程规划了各种常用的交际场景练习活动，比如热点讨论，商务会面，中国文化介绍等。通过这些实操训练，一方面帮助学生建立自信心，另一方面把理论学习与实际应用有机结合，从而帮助学生更好的理解英语语音的机制与规律。     This course features a combination of theory learning and practice, aiming to help learners understand the basic knowledge of English phonetics and pronunciation to achieve intelligible spoken English. In theory part, it mainly includes three parts: correct phonemic retaliation, correct syllable, stress placement within the word and in sentences, and relevant intonation. In practice part, this course designs situational activities with different themes, such as discussions on heated issues, business meetings and presentations of Chinese culture. By doing these activities, on the one hand, it helps students build confidence to speak English and on the other hand, helps them put theories introduced into practice.
